Over his lifetime he’s received the highest awards in the field, It's a real shame because I'm loving both games despite the technical issues plaguing them rn, but I think I'll wait until SOMETHING gets patched.Howard Terpning is one of the most lauded painters of Western art. Doom Eternal also runs perfectly fine at ultra/nightmare for me but the pixel flickering is seriously distracting.
ETERNAL FRONTIER ARTIFACT UPDATE
The thing is that it DID run a stable 100, totally buttery smooth, experience at medium during the day one release, but every update since has been making it worse. All of which can be generalized to horrendous framerates issues and audio delay.
There's a mega thread on the HL: A Steam discussion page listing everyone's issue with it. However, thankfully it's not just entirely on the 5600XT's fault. Just out of curiosity, how is the experience in hl:alyx ? Can it do stable 100 on medium ? Yes the squares are a menace, also dont want to play Doom (its crashing aswell) but the card for the price i paid is great.
ETERNAL FRONTIER ARTIFACT 1080P
This card can pull 180fps on 1080p on the nightmare settings, anything else i play F1 2019, Far Cry 5, Resident Evil 3, kingdome come delivernace, all over 100fps with decent settings, without any issues, drops or stutters. Wait, If there is one thing i never had issues then its the performance. The squares are seriously bugging me to the point where I just dont want to play it anymore. I can't run anything decently without hiccups, ESPECIALLY Doom Eternal and HL Alyx.

I've been having the same issue and I guess only now I'm seeing people bring it up. I have the EXACT same issue, to the point where even the pattern of the squares is the same as yours.
AMD is hardly gonna do anything because if there is a one thing they are really good at, it is ignoring issues that only plague the chosen few. There has been some threads about this issue, one was made by me, i could see it in the benchmarks of the 5600xt, but as usual no-one cares about it. Its a bug with the driver, nothing you can do about it other than to write to AMD.
ETERNAL FRONTIER ARTIFACT INSTALL

It is a bug only happening on the 5600xt, i tried everything already - cvars, fresh install of windows 10, different monitors, different drivers (seemed to happen less on 20.2.2). I've searched for others experiencing this issue, and found not a single soul. I've tried their "support" site, but the support ticket form seems to be in an idiot loop. Anyone else experience this, or have any idea what might be causing it? Any help would be appreciated. I realize this is a minor gripe compared to game crashing bugs, or the dang thing just not running, but it is annoying. Disabling any overlays, and certifying the local file install integrity. I've tried turning everything to low/off. I'm on the most recent and recommended drivers on a clean install. They only appear when looking at certain types of metallic textures. In certain areas, all along the top of my screen I am seeing a flickering checkerboard of squares. Everything on Ultra Nightmare, except texture pool which is on Ultra for VRAM limit. Playing in 1080p on monitor in native resolution.
